Wearing your seatbelt can save your life or reduce the injuries you may sustain in a motor vehicle crash. With all the knowledge we have, why is seatbelt use not at 100%?  Maybe putting this sticker in every automobile will change that.

RiverWorld is a great site put up by Mark Angelo and BCIT’s Fish, Wildlife & Recreation program that highlights the importance of our rivers and what we must do to protect them from further damage. The site includes photo galleries and information various rivers including our great river The Mighty Fraser.

Flood maps show impact of rising ocean levels

An interesting site is available that shows the impact of various increases in the sea level. Flood Maps is a mashup of Google maps and elevation data from NASA. It lets you adjust the amount of increase in the sea level.

Here’s the view of a 2 meter rise in the Vancouver area.
